I have been teaching physics and, more recently, Math for the past 35 years, both in the Netherlands and the USA. At the Colorado School of Mines, we used CAPA for Physics homework. In the teaching qualification trajectory at the University of Groningen, I came into contact with WeBWorK, and introduced the platform for the University College Groningen Math and Physics courses. After moving to Maastricht University, I used WeBWorK for Math courses here, hosted by the Runestone Academy. Recently we have installed a local server for WeBWorK, which I am currently commissioning and plan to eventually make it available to all Math instructors at the University and integrate into Canvas. I am currently an educator at Maastricht Science Program, a LAS program at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Next to being an educator, I am also a mother, and have my website at sciencemom.nl where I occasionally post musings about women, science and academia.
